We remove swirls. We do not hide them.
Plenty of shops cut corners by filling swirls with glaze and wax that wash away in a few weeks, then coat right over the damage. Coat over swirls and you lock them in for years.
We machine polish first. The single stage correction in every coating actually removes defects and brings your paint to a true baseline, so the gloss you see on day one is the gloss the coating protects.

Is the $550 bundle actually free, or is it built into the price?
It is actually free. Our coating prices did not change when we added it. The windshield coating, wheel and rim coating, and maintenance kit used to be paid upgrades at $200, $200, and $150, and we moved them into every package instead of discounting the coating itself. We would rather hand you $550 of real protection than take a couple hundred off the invoice, because the protection is worth more to you than the discount is.
How much does a ceramic coating cost?
Most daily drivers land between $699 and $1,900 depending on vehicle size and the protection tier you choose. Unlike many prices you'll see, ours already includes the full decontamination, machine paint correction, and the $550 protection bundle, not just the coating. Do I get the bundle on the cheapest tier too?
Yes. Windshield coating, wheel and rim coating, and the maintenance kit come with all three tiers, including the one year Essential Coating. It is not a top tier upgrade and there is no minimum spend. The tier you pick changes how long your paint coating lasts, not what comes with it.
Do I need a code or a coupon?
No. The bundle is applied automatically to every ceramic coating booking, so the price you see when you get your quote already has it included. Nothing to enter, nothing to claim, and nothing that expires.
How will I hear back?
We text you your exact price, usually within a minute of submitting. If you have questions you can reply straight to that text and a real person answers. Some vehicles need a quick conversation to price properly, such as heavy paint defects, oversized vehicles, or a coating you want matched to something specific. A coating is a full day of work, start to finish, and we cap the number we take on each month so every car gets the full decontamination, correction, and cure time it needs. When the month fills, it fills. Detailing appointments are separate and have far more availability.

What is in the maintenance kit?
The same products we use to maintain a coated car, so you can wash yours without stripping the coating you just paid for. We hand it to you at delivery and walk you through exactly how and when to use each item. It is yours to keep, and it is included on every coating tier.
Does Seattle weather affect my coating?
Weather is exactly why we plan every coating in advance. Coatings are applied in a controlled, covered environment and scheduled around the forecast so they flash and cure clean and dry. If conditions won't allow a proper install, we reschedule at no charge rather than rush a coating that has to last for years.
How long does a ceramic coating last?
It depends on your tier. Our coatings are rated from one to five years of durability with proper maintenance, which means hand washing, avoiding harsh automatic washes, and a quick coating maintenance spray every few months. The kit we give you covers that last part.
How long does the application take?
Most jobs take a full day. Decontamination and polishing are the time intensive steps, and the coating goes on only after your paint is perfect. Glass and wheels are coated in the same visit. We give you an exact window when you book.
Can I drive my car right after?
Yes. We recommend keeping it dry for the first 24 hours and avoiding washes for seven days while the coating fully cures. We walk you through simple aftercare before we finish.
Do I really need paint correction first?
Yes, and it is already included. Coating over swirls just locks them in for years. The single stage polish in every package brings your paint to a clean baseline before we seal it.
What if my paint has heavy defects?
If your paint needs more than a single stage polish, such as deep scratches or oxidation, we can add a multi stage correction. Send us a few photos when you get your price and we will let you know.
Can you coat a brand new car?
Absolutely. New cars are ideal. The paint is in great shape and we lock that in from day one. It is highly recommended before your first Seattle winter.

SudBros Ceramic Coating Warranty
Applies to every tier. Covers the surfaces we coat, on the vehicle we coat.
Your warranty runs for the rated life of the tier you bought and starts the day we install it. A 3 year coating is a 3 year warranty, with no fine print term that expires before the coating does.
Your coating stays bonded and keeps beading and sheeting water for your full term. A covered failure means water stops beading, or the coating lifts, across most of a coated panel, confirmed by our inspection.
The first 12 months are covered at 100 percent of what you paid, then the credit steps down by the months you have used. A reapplied coating carries the rest of your original term, not a new one.
One thing we need from you
A ceramic coating is not maintenance free, and a coating that never gets washed correctly will fail no matter who installed it. Coverage depends on a SudBros maintenance wash every 3 months. Being straight with you: those washes are a paid service and they are not included in your coating price. Scheduling them is up to you, and our reminders are a courtesy rather than a deadline extension.
Between visits, wash by hand only with the pH neutral method in your care kit. Automatic and brush washes are the fastest way to void this.
